I agree about it invoking Leonard Cohen... but even beyond that, it's special and unique and a carefully crafted tribute.  Great song, great performance.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

These are not Just Covers........

These are tributes to friends!

Not things to just be lost in the covers section.....

The Tribute fest has become something bigger than what it was when it started...
That's not a bad idea T. Maybe after the festival ends, I'll make a "Songcrafter Tributes" board and move all of the TributeFest posts into it. Then people can continue to make tribute covers whenever they want to and post them there.

Yes, lets do that 64G, I have so many more I want to try someday, so many great original songs on here, not enough time.  It would be so great to have a special spot where we put these covers made with love.

Geir

thank you everyone for the kind comments, this was a pleasure to do, kinda like finding a hidden gem. I had forgot about this song when I was playing through Tharek's old songs and when I heard it I just knew I had to give it a try.

T my man, you are one talented young man, and I'm glad you liked this interpretation of your fine song!!

Sometimes, Geir, you find a song that is a Particularly good vehicle for your unique and wonderful voice.

This is such an occasion.  Thank you both for the song and  the cover.  Love it. ;D
