I saw the Jimi Hendrix Experience perform at the civic center in Providence, RI.
It was an awesome show, to be sure. Jimi liked his Marshall amps and he had plenty of them.
I counted 68 cabinets, double-stacked on scaffolding two stories high on both ends of the stage, and double-stacked across the back of the stage, edge-to-edge. Those were just for Jimi.
Noel Redding had his own bass bin setup but much smaller. Only 20 cabinets.

They seriously kicked ass! Great show.
