GYF - A moodily-atmospheric gem is what you've created here, Gary, which as others have pointed out demands repeated listens; and which advice I've taken.    Obviously some care as gone into the structure of the song, and the playing and vocal complement each other superbly, so well done on all those fronts.
If I may pick up on LG's comment about the addition of keyboards, well, perhaps some counterpoint could be added to the song to intensify the rich darkness from the mid-point onwards, say strings or keyboard from the 2nd time of '...Never told you that I loved you...' etc. The distorted guitar near the end is nigh-on perfect as a play-off, but would be perhaps much too long to have any longer in the song, so I'd leave that alone (a little bit longer may not hurt, though  ).
All in all, a brilliant effort. You can be well-pleased with yourself.
