This is probably my all-time favorite Greeny song.  It's such a great song and the original performance by Greeny and Prive is fantastic, with so much raw energy.
So, I must be crazy for trying to cover it!  :D

Thanks for listening.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

I never heard the original but I'm liking this! It certainly has that Greeny sound...great work. I'm sure Tim will be pleased.

Excellent! I love the bass, and the contrast between the clean guitars and the overdriven lead. And I like how you slipped in a little tribute to The Beatles' "Rain". Very cool. The production is outstanding, as always. You really have a talent for production, as well as being a gifted musician.

And great songwriting Greeny!

Yes, what everyone else said! Perfect all the way around. I thought the "Rain" harmony was pretty cool as well.

Talent, detail and precision all wrapped up in one!

Such a cool cover Hooper - and a great song Greeny!

The production is amazing!
This sounds like it came out of a professional studio.

The guitars and vocals are crisp and clear. The harmonies are spot-on.

Great job!
It ain't pretty being easy.

James just texted me, so I was straight over here!

Blown away is right. I can't really find the words for this, but I have to try. It's a special song to me, this one. It's gone through many transitions over the years from when I wrote the orginal lyric in 1989. It finally all came together when I got the BR and Prive added some scorching lead guitar. It's one of my personal faves, and one I love playing live too.

But this, Ken... this is absolutely stunning. More than that. It has all of your trademark production and performance excellence, but it goes way beyond that for me. The thrill of hearing you take this to a different level is immense. It's like the Beatles covering one of my songs! You've made it lush, warm and more hypnotic. The bass alone is in another world. I can't wait for my gf and son to hear this!

I'll be listening to this all day. Thanks Ken... you've done something very special, and I really REALLY appreciate it!
