I only have one Tom Waits album (sorry) but it's Mule Variations so I know and love this song. Covering Tom Waits is really tough and you avoided a cliched approach and pulled it off. Great job, I love the way you have done the vox.

I have been waiting to post a comment, I had to give this a few listens, digest the fullness of this, the totality of the moment.  I still can't really make a coherent comment, its too much of a good thing, so good it hurts.  Its like lying back in a bathtub of melted chocolate and red ale, drifting off on a cloud of happy juice.  See what I mean, nonsense comments is all I can manage, its too much to take in, your voice does that to me on this song.
