I must say Sandy... I had no idea who Mr. Waits was before you had posted this song and many other threads that mentioned him. It has come to my attention that I have led a musically sheltered life. I thought I was pretty well versed until you opened my ears. This man is a genious... and deserves way more attention than the majority of singer song writers out there. I bet he's the kinda guy that could draw a crowd on a street corner of any given town simply because he is soooo original and authentic to the music he creates. I know I would stop to listen... and wouldn't leave until he was done!!! Ears wide open. Thanks for broadening my horizons. Great post.
