Hey thanks guys!

I'm really glad you guys like it. If I ever get a band together to make a CD, I'll make damn sure you guys know about it.

"It ain't pretty being easy" is in my signature. I've always liked that saying. That's how I got the idea for the song.

DANG VANN, THIS ROCKS!!!!
It's like testosterone for the ears!  I played it twice and am about to play it again...and again.  The pause going into the lead solo was perfect, and all of the guitar parts complimented each other wonderfully. Great vocals, too. Those pounding eighth note drum fills kept supercharging the energy.  How did you do the drums?

Seriously, this one could go commercial.  If your band did this live you would rock the place down. Man, you've got to put this out to the public. No kidding.

Come on, you know you want to go there...

One small suggestion - the guitar tracks sound a little hot to me, like maybe the levels were maxed out.  It could be thats the way those patches are supposed to sound. If so, never mind. It rocks either way.  Up to my 4th listen now...

Just heard what you did with "Vodka" so had to come here to get a slug of this baby. Great stuff indeed, love the title and the lyrics. You ROCK big time my friend, but the thing that's really clever about what you do is that although this style has been done a lot by many others, you bring something unique to it. Your production is really top notch and the harmonies are very clever as well. I really like your "durty" guitar playing the most - you don't overdo things but your solos just drip with attitude. You sound like you have armfuls of tattoos and would eat Slash for breakfast.......

(edit) And I just remembered you are a tech writer. You sound like the scariest, bad-assest tech writer there has ever been (OK, I know that's not a tough challenge).

Think I'm going to make me a Vanncad album from your tracks.

Cheers,

Nigel
