Quote from: Vanncad on March 16, 2010, 04:49:23 PMHey Rockatron - by the title, I thought this was gonna be a tribute to "Chuck Norris".  ;D

Interesting piece of music though. I used to screw around with these types of riffs "back in the day".

One piece of advice - adjust the level on the guitar so it doesn't limit the meter. It sounds like you recorded it too "hot" and are getting some unwanted distortion.
I do it it all the time too, and I usually don't notice it until the mix-down.

Hey thanks for that piece of advice.  In fact, my friend and I didn't want the guitar to be mono but somehow ended up this way.  It would have sounded much better that's for sure as our first trial was stereo.  I also agree that my guitar was over the top loud!  And I did notice it being OVER on the BR on a few occasions. Will limit input next time!

Hey Guys,

I was on the bass for this one. It was so much fun to record. Very spontaneous.

Rockatron!! Great to see you around again!

Killer tune, bro! Great picking, and FreddyBoyo put town a great bass lineline that had a cool trebly, picky sound - Love it!

You did very well with the vocals, too - I like the style a lot.

See you around!

Thanks RTT for your reply!  Man, I'm still listening to this one with FreddyBoyo and having a blast, reminds me of the super-fun we had recording it.
Cheers!
