Hi,

Probably my best song so far.
Personal I am very enthausiastic, the build up, the break, the backing vocal during chorus after break.
For details my advice is to listen with a headphone. (guitar part during verse on one ear for the atmosphere)

Story behind the song is that sometimes a your live can be completely different then
what you've expected, lost everything (not personal  ;D)

Lyrics: Wrong road.

verse1:
Time rolls by
Seven days
Got no home
Fifty-two weeks

chorus:
That was not the thing I've planned
Not what I had in mind
This is not my kind of life.
My kind of life

verse2:
Time rolls by
Seven days
Got no home
Fifty-two weeks
Walk through the streets
Every day
Searching for better
Twenty-four hours

chorus:
That was not the thing I've planned
Not what I had in mind
This is not my kind of life.
My kind of life

bridge:
Can you hear me
I am screaming out loud
Can you see me
Reach me your hand

chorus 2x:
That was not the thing I've planned
(I took the wrong road)
Not what I had in mind
This is not my kind of life.
(I took the wrong road)
My kind of life

Very powerful performance, lexman! I like the composition - I'm humming it now after listening. This is a very nice e-guitar/powerpop tune. Liked the arrangement, too!

Cool song ~ great layered guitars and build up!!  well done singing & song writing, and my kind of ending!  I also like your bridge build up to your final chorus.

Cool song Lexman!

I really dig the crushing guitar tone you got going on here.
You've got some good harmonies too!

Good job man!

p.s. - I love the pick slide at the end  ;)
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

Cool song, though the lyrics are kind of sad. Hope you find your "kind of life".  Love the way it builds toward the end, and I really like the clean arpeggio. It also has a cool slow groove.

Don't worry about me...
I am having a great live, great job, lovely woman and 2 nice kids.
I've tried to 'transfer' me into the head of a man who had
everything but he lost it all.

Well you did a great job of it!  I was about to send you some flowers!  I love songs that get in people's heads and express raw emotions. Very insightful work, my friend.
