A few days ago I bought the Boss Micro BR. It's a great and handy "gizmo". ;D

Here's my first attemp to noodle some sounds on it. Still having trouble with a balanced bass sound  :-\  but then again, it's my first try. ;D .... so please be gentle!

Hi Crosseyed, That's some great bass playing, I bet once the other guys in the forum hear this they are going to want to try some collaborations with you. I had to use the link to hear your work rather than the mini mp3 player, but I'm glad I did, love it. :)
Keep on rocking in the free world :)

Some pretty damm fancy bass playing there, real impressive. Tone sounded fine to me.

Yeah.... I think you would enjoy hooking up with Hal (aka FarmJazz).... a mighty fine guitar player.
I'll bet good musical things would happen.   ;)

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Dude, really great bass sounds! Congratulations! Could you tell us how did you record it? And really great bass playing also!

By the way, I'm new here. I'm in Brazil and I'm still reading the manual. As soon I have some to show I will post it. Cheers.

Well it's recorded very simple  ;D
Basses directly into the M-Br. The standard clean bass patch is used.
Mastered on the M-br with only a light compression, and thats all.
The wave file's envelope en cutting is done with adobe audition.

used basses - Fretted Jazz - fretless jazz and a accoustic bass  8)

So as you can see, it's nothing fancy. :D All is done on the m-br, and no external pre amp or effects are used.

I keep it simple

Really great bass sound! The sound quality of Micro BR seems impressive to me.
