Ma se ghe penso - Italian Immigrant Song

Hi everybody

my first upload!!! 

"Ma se ghe penso" ("If I think about it", where "it" is "my land", "my old town"), is an old immigrant song written in 1925, and is about the sadness of the immigrant thinking back to the place he left behind, in search of work.

It's in Genoa dialect (but "language" would be more exact, since it's very far from Italian).
I don't sing, so in my version the melody is by acoustic guitar.
Backing tracks using Band-in-a-Box, recorded with my Seagull Performer CW Mini-Jumbo acoustic guitar on my Boss BR-600. Everything then on Audition 3, and the "last shot" by T-Racks 24 mastering Software.

Very nice.

I was going to say it had poignancy with the fate of eastern Europeans chancing the trip to Italy in overcrowded boats.  But actually it doesn't have any of that; for me, it's just a really nice piece of music.  Which I enjoyed a lot.
