Andrew kindly asked Sasha (Tangled Wires lead singer) to add some of her beautiful magic lyrics and vocals to my Life Interrupted song and it sounds marvelous!!   Please enjoy listening, as Sasha's voice takes this song to a whole new level of magic!

A special big thanks to Andrew for mixing this so well and for asking Sasha to sing on one of my songs :)

"Life Interrupted"

Music by Satchwood

Lyrics and Vox by Sasha, lead singer of Tangled Wires

A stupid statement, a silly line

A throwaway comment that stops the shine

Of all the things I thought I knew

It was the link between me and you

But suddenly I cannot see

How I believed in you and me...

Just one thing, that's all it takes.

(A face of sadness, a heart that aches.)

And once again, I find me alone

Where did you run to? Why the heart of stone?

(A face of sadness, a heart that aches.)

And now I find a heart of blue

I tried to win but I died alone without you.

(A face of sadness and a heart that aches.)

Just one thing, that's all it takes...

(A face of sadness, a heart that aches.)

very cool...what a sound! totally original...dramatic. Vocals make it fly! Simple structure - clean and clear...top drawer!

Beautiful melody and Sasha's voice is perfect on this tune. Very pro playing and song writing, again by Tommy! An awesome song!

Stunning - Tommy, Sasha, and Andrew - I love the contrasts: 80s synth sound, new wave/post-modern vocal stylings, and metal guitar. It all fits well.  8)

Holy sh*t!!!

This is mindblowing to say the least. I loved the original post, and Sasha's additions really put it over the top!

"A face of sadness, a heart that aches." Damn that's good...

And the sparing guitar rockout is perfect. I like the driving beat, too.

Just awesome!
