Yes, you can import all of the tracks into Audacity and mix them there. That's what I did with I'll Find My Way Home.

Which version of Audacity did you install? Select "About Audacity" from the Help menu to find out. There are two versions available - a Main version (1.26) and a Beta version (currently 1.3.11). I prefer the Beta version.

I'm with 64 - 1.3.11 is the best choice, mainly due to the automatic support of VST plugins. You will love that stuff, expecially considering the type of music you create. Free effects galore all over the web by searching "Free VST Plugins", some cheesy, but many really good quality. Sometimes the cheesy ones have their uses, though.  :)

I've got 1.26. How do I 'layer' my tracks in? Got all the individual tracks on my desktop, but can only seem to get one 'track' at a time to come in.... ???

You have to import your tracks into Audacity rather than opening them. There are a couple of ways to do that. If you've got enough desktop space, you can drag the files from your desktop or Windows Explorer and drop them into Audacity. Or, you can select "Import Audio" from Audacity's Project menu. Pressing Ctrl-I will do the same thing. I use the "Import Audio" method rather than drag & drop because it allows me to work with the Audacity window maximized.

If you upgrade to 1.3.11 (recommended), you'll find that "Import Audio" has moved to the File menu. Also, it's now two separate menu items ("Import", then "Audio"), and the keyboard shortcut is now Shift+Ctrl+I (at least in Linux, I'm not sure about Windows).

One of the nice features of the Beta version is the Mixer Board introduced in version 1.3.8.

Here's a screenshot of the Mixer Board from my recent unplugged project:

1.3.8?  I could only find 1.3.13? I'd like that mixer board feature
