I Wish - Shannon

This is my Daughter Shannon. She is 10 yrs old. She wrote the song on her own, no help from me, she plays the guitar and sings. I handled bass and recording duties.

What a great opportunity for Shannon to have access to multi-track recording when she's just ten years old.  I hope she will stay interested and the two of you can have lots of fun with it!

Very catchy little song -I played it over and over again and it just kept getting better and better. Keep it up, you have a gift, and at your age you have a lot of potential to keep improving.

I wish I would have picked up an instrument at your age, seriously! When I was about 12 yrs old I desperately wanted a drum kit, but my mother wouldn't buy me one, for obvious reasons (too darn noisy). So then I asked for a guitar but I got Atari instead (yes I'm old). I didn't pick up the guitar until I was almost 20 yrs old. I still have never owned a drum because I live in an apartment complex. Be thankful your father is helping you to learn an instrument, take lessons as often as you can, I promise you will not regret it when you get older.

Keep up the great work. I'd love to hear more.
