Electronic Drums?

I can see where flash harry is coming from, if you have an apartment it may be too loud to practice anytime you want its still alot better than an acoustic kit though.  You might want to check this out http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/DM5ProSCKit/

Wow - Thanks for all the info Flash and Fly.

Those TD9's sound really good, but might be out of my price range.

I'm gonna look around for awhile I think. I know a guy in town who has a Yamaha set, so I'm gonna see if he'll let me bash 'em around for a bit, and maybe record something with them.

They would be going in the basement, at the opposite end of the house from the bedrooms, so I might be all right for noise.

I really appreciate all the info guys.

Vann, if you are looking for examples of work.... Blooby (as you know) and Hooper use E-drums. I am pretty sure both have the yamaha DTXpress IV special. I am very impressed with the quality of their posts, which led to The set we're currently using.
