Some people might not remember this one. It was the Bee Gee's first release in America , (its my feeble attempt at a three part harmony) ,  rumours circulated at the time were that the Beatles were recording under a pseudonym , the Bee Gee's name was supposedly code for "Beatles Group" The song recounts the story of a miner trapped in a cave-in. He is sharing a photo of his wife with a colleague ("Mr. Jones") while they hopelessly wait to be rescued , this song was inspired by the 1966 Aberfan mining disaster in Wales.

Rob, this is amazing!!  :o One of my favorite Bee Gees songs (I love their early stuff), and you've made it your own.

Guitar is beautifully played as always, and your vocal and harmonies sound heavenly to these ears.

Top notch unplugged goodness!

That was great.  Wish I could sing harmonies (or indeed anything) that "feebly."  I remember the song but didn't know about that particular Beatles runour.  I always secretly liked the BeeGees although I had to keep it in the closet - my heavy rock mates would have given me hell.

An old favorite my band in junior high used to (attempt to) play.
Your voice is perfect for this and it doesn't sound like you're straining a bit with the high harmonies.  A very enjoyable listen.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.
