Getting this one in just under the wire...  ;)

Here's my unplugged take on 'Arnold Layne' written by Syd Barrett, which was the first Pink Floyd single and released in March of 1967. It's a funny little story of a 'clothes collector' :D which Radio London found offensive enough to ban (nowadays, it's quite tame), even though it reached the top 20 and launched the group.

Guild D-25 guitar double-tracked
Bina harmonium (an Indian pump-organ) double-tracked
Bongos & maracas
Door slam & chain rattle

I hope you enjoy it,

Dear God this is good Cuth.  I love this, this brings so much fun to this.  Great stuff.  That harmonium sounds wickedly wonderful.

This is great! One of my Floyd faves as well.

Pro production and playing - Very well put together.

It was worth the wait!

Wonderful stuff Cuthbert.  A great song done really well - and I absolutely love the harmonium which works brilliantly with the eastern style harmonies.  How did you come across one of those?  Perhaps get a couple of tabla?   ;D
