MBR mounting board

I made a mounting board for my MBR.  The main thing it accomplishes is to set the display at a comfortable viewing angle.  In lieu of a mic stand it will sit at the top of a music stand; the music stand can then be adjusted in height as needed.  I've put the details on a blog-

That's a good idea, I have been trying to think of a way to conveniently mount the MicroBr.

The blog for adjusting the delay timing was also good.

Adjusting the delay time explanation, credit goes to hooper.  I just wanted to be able to find the information when I needed it.

I should do that, stop the damm thing falling off my knee  ::)

That home-made mounting board gave me an idea. I'm going to try something like this

I'm going to order this one because I'm too lazy to go out and find one. Plus with time and gas it probably wouldn't be any cheaper in the long run.   ::) , but you should be able to find them for around $3 at Wallmart or someplace similar. This one is nice and thick though. You could use the velcro method to attach it. Or an elastic strap. And you might have to add some kind of weight to the stand in the back, but maybe not if you mount it low. It's at a fairly steep angle, so you might have to tilt it to set the Micro BR up, but it's probably a perfect angle for recording sitting down and placing it on a table. I record in front of my computer, so it would sit right there next to the computer, or on my keyboard tray.  ;D

Someone asked about tabletop stands recently in the Yahoo! BossBr group and I posted a few links to pages with adjustable stands:

I'm not sure if I'd buy any of these but they provide good inspiration for building your own.

Yeah, something like that would be good too if they made them in 6x4 sizes. Or if you had lots of room. That's whats nice about the picture holders. You can get them in just about any size you want.

Well, my stand for the Micro BR is completed. All it took was a heavy duty slanted 4x6 sign/picture holder and some Velcro. You can't sit there and punch on the buttons while in the upright position without it moving, but you can program it and then set it upright for recording. If I can get a heavy lead piece to glue on the back of the 'L' shaped base, it might hold enough for punching the buttons without sliding. But I was primarily looking for something to angle the microphone more optimally for recording.

Here's a solution I came up with when I first got mine:

I was just recently thinking about this. I see Zoom has got a nice little clip for there new line. I think the perfect place is attached to a mic stand. I have a an idea thats in the works. For now, all I can say is, "thank god for velcro". Clever ideas though.
