Its still a bit rough around the edges but I hope you find it worthy of a listen.

I had the lyrics in the lyric section for a while and many of you gave me some great feedback - thanks for that!

At the Moment it sounds Really Happy...  It seems to go against the words....


But thats what I Find Cool About all of Your Music. Every one of your songs Are in your style, but could be snapped up by A record company and turned into a something Completly different and Comercial..

Ian... great song. Really like the off beat transition. Lyrics are spot on. Yes... a little cleaning up would suit the song well. It's a great start to a great song.

I agree with the quote above from OsCKiLO.  I think I need to make the song a bit sadder musically.  I have never written anything in a minor key, so I guess its time to explore that.

like the tone of your voice though i agree with putting some emotion in there to fit the lyrics. It's kinda like sitting in your living room listening to you play live...liked it.

This was a great bump - Really enjoyed this one.

The vocals remind me of Warren Zevon a little, and everyone should be reminded of that guy from time to time!

Nice tune, a little more work on this and it will be really good, maybe change the vocal style but that up the the writer and what he or she wants to convey, the one thing I would change is the drum kit, I would try STD 1 OR 2 or Room and add some fills.
Just an idea also, if you added a second rhythm guitar and panned them left and right, it would give the sound a wider stereo effect.
