tharek, due to my lurking mainly at work (no sound), this is the first one of yours I've heard in a good few months...

You constantly surprise me. I kind of do know what to expect when I click "go" on one of yours now, each one is fresh/different, but it's always you.

I don't want to get all gushing - but you really do seem to be a true "original", someone who can make music that just stands out. You're doing the same stuff as the rest of us, using the same notes, the same sort of instrumentation, etc, etc, but you seem to have the knack of grabbing from anywhere, stirring it all up and each time giving us something that sounds fresh but still familiar.

I started reading the lyrics to this one before I listened, and I thought "nah... this ain't gonna be my thing...", but you somehow took something that could so easily have missed the mark and hit it bang on in the middle...
