There's a nice edge to this, great vocal performance and certainly quite different. Great musicianship on display there as well.

Wow...top shelf musicianship and vocals (KILLER lead vocal, by the way!) and live! No need to worry about defining the genre...makes me remember early listens to Steely Dan, who shared similar traits with you folks (hard to define, but really really GOOD)!!
The future isn't what it used to be...
