As promised, I've been working to this thread all afternoon.  Here are some of my reactions:

Re. This is the Day
I'm a sucker for anything with an accordion.  Matt Johnson is my brother.  Well, not that Matt Johnson.

Re. I Wish
I hated this song and Sir Duke when they were popular on the radio.  I love them now. The bass is solid and spazzy at the same time.  How is that possible?

Re. Spanish Flea
One of my most surreal musical memories is being in this dusty village in Cameroon in 1991, still a little freaked out by my commitment to spend two years in Africa, and there were some mechanics working on a broken down car by the road blaring Herb Alpert on a boom box.

Re. I Feel Good
Wow.  I think I prefer the older lip synched and rubber legs version.
