I can't even comprehend how its possible to create something so beautiful and interesting in such a short time.  Lovely!  I also like the "spoken words sections" - really fits it.  I guess music is a bit like solving math problems, some people are "unfairly" better at it than others!

Thanks guys , and Des ,  AK and i started , by putting covers on the old Boss site , neither of us had written a song in the twenty years we had  been playing together , and that was intermittantly , i have only written two songs in thirty years , but now AK has now got the bug and has written probably about six songs , honestly we are'nt talented at all , AK still thinks his songs are rubbish , and i only started singing about six yers ago and i still struggle with pitch , but we enjoy it loads.
The thing is , this site , the people on it , and that little siver box has given us a new impetus , and somehow it is all starting to come together , we are both in our mid to late fifties , so keep at it , and if you have'nt got a playing partner , i would say get one , maybe with collabs ,because, on my own , i would only be playing cover songs , because i can't write , AK would be playing instrumentals because he's tone deaf , i've heard your stuff its very good , you might just need someone to bounce off.

Tharek mate , here are the lyrics , as promised , hope they help with your project

Street Blood

Blood on the pavement, soaked in and dried

The hearts of the loved ones, scream out and cry

And voices so anguished, weep a sad sigh

Just cry out loud, why?

Sweet flowers adorn, railing gates

With cards that mourn, the loss of a mate

And neighbours appalled, at this senseless hate

How can it just be, fate

We are the kids, we have the might

Strong in our gangs, ready to fight

With guns at our sides, to give all a fright

   We are in-charge, alright

Squalor for homes, the money is tight

Tempers flare up, and passions ignite

Fuelled by booze, and other delights

   We own the streets, tonight

Don't talk about truth, don't preach about rights

   Our world's a mess, a dangerous site

Try as we may, to escape from this plight

   Our futile, flight

Vicar speaks kindly, of a light seen

As they bury this child, barely thirteen

Tears flood the aisles, with cries in between

Grief–stricken and, hurting

There's blood on young hands, but what do they care

Nothing to live for, nothing to share

Morals and hopes cower, under the stairs

Drowned in utter, despair

Lovely job guys, the acoustics sound fabulous here. I can't make out all the lyrics (my hearing's bad) but the message is coming across. Excellent work for such a short amount of invested time - sounds like you worked on this for a lot longer!

Cheers,

Nigel
