For my wife on Valentine's day. Plus I was challenged to do a song that wasn't as dark or depressing. I hope this works.

All alone once again
Just waiting for you here
I feel like a different man
Whenever you are near

It doesn't matter where you go or what you do
It only matters who is with you

I love to sit and think
About you my dear wife
And don't forget our two girls
The best things in our life

It doesn't matter where you go or what you do
It only matters who is with you

Is it enough to know that I will always love you?

Through fourteen years of love
We've shared our ups and downs
But like a treasure once thought lost
I hoard this love we've found

It doesn't matter where you go or what you do
It only matters who is with you

Good Valentine's gift :)

The solo is great and the chorus is in my mind!

A very fine song indeed. There's a nice feel about it: emotional without being slushy. A great valentine's gift for sure. Bet she liked it!

Yes. This is the best Valentine's Day gift a person could
possibly give, IMHO...
Sweet.

This works for me, I like it a lot. Cool solo, and I liked the bridge work.

Wonderful sentiment, like one of those Valentine cards you pick up that seems to say just what you are feeling. Like it was specifically  written for you. The music is the icing on the cake. Guitar solo is oh so sweet. Over all sort a tugs at your heart strings. In a good way. lol
Excellent work
