Had a couple of hours spare and came up with this, just a tune about work and winter.

Rising to another dark day
The sun is a rare sight these days
Looking down from the snow covered hills
The city has a sodium shroud

When will the light come
Love to feel the rays again
When will the light come
Love to see the springtime again

A sharp intake of breath
Cold sends a shiver to your soul
Scrape the windscreen and turn the engine into life
Hope the roads been gritted again

When will the light come
Love to feel the rays again
When will the light come
Love to see the springtime again

Hands are numb as we get our work done
Clouds of breath in the icy air
The glowing flare lights up the sky
Let,s get back and do it again

When will the light come
Love to feel the rays again
When will the light come
Love to see the springtime again x2

Rising to another dark day
The sun is a rare sight these days
Looking down from the snow covered hills
The city has a sodium shroud

When will the light come
Love to feel the rays again
When will the light come
Love to see the spring time again

You always have some of the best harmonies ever. This was great.  Everyone I know is sick of winter and waiting for the sunshine and warmth of spring.

Great songwriting. Stripped, clean and wonderful. The guitars are just ace, and the vox are powerful yet tuneful. And it's a sentiment we can all buy into!
