I've been playing and singing this song for years at family get togethers.  It was fun to record, but not as easy as I had thought it would be. :-\

Many thanks to my brother (aka Hooper) for the hot piano track (and many, many tips on playing, singing, and recording).

Nice, real nice.  Your voice sounds really good.  You are right about this being a hard song to do right, timing is weird.  You did very good.

I normally queue up my unread posts by age so I don't miss any, but this one had to go to the top of the list. A fave of mine - This is outta site! Hooper's brother - We're being ganged up on by pro's!!  ;D

There are so many parts in this, but you manage to keep it sounding "old west" like the original. Love it!!

Well done, Rolow (and hooper)!  Sounds like talent runs in your family. :)

There's quite a lot going on here, too - what was that ratchety-sounding percussion?

Thoroughly enjoyable!

Not a huge Beatles fan, but always dug this song. You did the original a lot of justice! Awesome job....a lot of hard work went into this.

Rolow and Hooper you have done a great job of a great Beatles number, over the years I always said leave the beatles songs to the Beatles, but you two have done a great cover here, thanks for sharing.....Alex ;)

Love the original and love this. Beautifully performed and recorded. And you hit that trademark Macca tricky high note! Nice harmonica and piano touches too. Is that your brother working those harmonies? This is a beaut. Gonna have another listen...

It sure does! Check out their sister Nancy singing the lead vocal on hooper's brilliant cover of "Woodstock":

Awesome, 64G - thanks for linking to that! Somehow I missed it when first posted - still relatively noob then, and a bit more overwhelmed by the sheer number of great songs being posted.  :)
