Just to a tiny tiny bit of versatility here's a ballad. Not sure my voice is suited to this genre but again it just about holds up.

I would like to re record this with as a duet with a female vocalist.

Jake you are an outstanding musician and this is a great song. As far as the vocals, if you just want to make it a duet then fine but your voice sounds just perfect for this song. A couple of females singing back up harmonies would be fine. But you're doing fine on your own. Just my humble opinion.
