Here's another one for you. I originally wrote this one about my wife (now ex) back in 1999 but this recording is from 2008. I wasn't overly happy with the ending but I think it just about holds up...

Nice Changes, so emotional...Love it!
Are you playing all the instruments as well?

nothing is real... So theres nothing to get hung about!

Jake Dollery

Yeah, I have a go at it all (apart from the drums - I program them on an Alesis SR16)

Greeny

You're a very fine singer and songwriter. I can really hear you throwing your heart and soul into the vocal. Some superb guitar work and mixing too. I really enjoyed it. The ending was a bit sudden, but there's nothing really wrong with that.

Ferryman_1957

Great song, nice powerful guitar work as well. There's some good dynamics here in the way the song builds. The ending is certainly a bit sudden but as Tim says, it works.

On the production side, the overall balance is great but the vox sounded a little thin and toppy for me, the recording lost a bit of power in the mid range frequencies. I didn't feel the recording does your excellent vox justice but its only a minor point.

Cheers,

Nigel

Nice cool song, very heartfelt !! --> sounds great, maybe bring the vocals up in the mix or what Nigel said actually!  I'd bring the lead solo up as well :)
