I think this is a fine full-band production.  I like the choice of instruments, sounds and arrangement. The bass, guitar, synth and slide each sound good and mix well together. I'm glad to hear your native twist on the excellent words and vox, Jim!  Seems like this should have potential for indie radio.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Greeny

Polished and charming. This is a cracking song, with top performances all round. That's a really heartfelt and emotional vocal, Mr H. Luvverly!

What beautiful lyrics and great vocals ORH.This is a very nice song.

Really great stuff.  I would say to bring your excellent vocals up a little bit more, or maybe double track, they seem a little lost with the full band behind you.  But the singing and lyrics are dynamite.  There is a tremendous amount of feeling here ORH.  This is a really good vocal.  This whole song rocks.  Great job.

This is a really polished song and is nice and straightforward. Great playing all round and a well constructed song that is really catchy. Nice mellow end to my work day.

I think the vox do get a bit lost in places but it may be more because they are clipping a bit and the sound is a little thin. Perhaps try double tracking or another vocal effect?

Cheers,

Nigel
