"Unplugged Fest" - Toxicity - System of a Down

I seem to be unable to get the vocal mix right...    Either I do it too low, or too high. This sounds like it is the latter to me.

Of course I had to take on yet another song with a singer that is impossible to copy correctly, so I just tried to pick a key that felt comfortable. Hopefully I didn't mess it up too bad.

Wow...I am a bid SoaD fan and this is one of my favourites, and you have produced a fantastic acoustic version of this. I agree, Serj is almost impossible to copy, but you have not tried to and made a version of the song unique to you.

I am contemplating doing a SoaD song myself for the Fest, and you have set a very high standard with this one!

I am really digging this one Saij.  I think your voice sounds really good here, its not too loud to my ears, it sounds really good against the superbly played guitars.  Very nice job here.

Brilliant stuff.  I'm not familiar with the original either but I really like this version.

This song rules - Way to take charge covering it. And a great "original" sounding cover at that. I think the vox sound great the way they are, and the harmony parts were quite tight. But, if you want them to blend more, all you have to do is knock a little low end out of them and everything will fit like a glove.

Anyway, killer tune. Sounds great to me!

Never heard it either but WOW !!!!! I love this !! Your best of this fest  and one of my favorites from this fest too !!!

Vocals are perfect in the mix, and I love that you've managed this great sound with no effects at all (just eq and comp on the mic and mastering)
