Bouncing Technique

Hey everyone, I seem to be having trouble with my bouncing. I have my rhythms ready and am bouncing tracks 1,2 to.. 3 and 4. The mix seems perfect before i bounce and then the bass seems way to high after the bounce. Is this normal??
Will it come together after i do my final mix and then master?

Hey, bro - Did you shut your rhythm (Drums) section off while bouncing? It will record it to the bounced tracks if you don't.

Also, are you panning the bounced tracks L50 R50? If not, that will also give you a more "In your face" bass sound as well.

Thanks alot for the tip Launch. My songs i`m working on have alot to them so i want the best recording i can possibly get for me and the gear i have anyway. I might go crazy before i`m done.

Is there any more things you can tell me or links to provide me with more info on bouncing and also the mastering?  That`ll probably kill me too..haha. The manual is great but can only tell you how to work the buttons.

Sorry, I didn't see the reply to this. There is good info splattered all over this forum, but it has been lost partly because of the new format, and partly because they get buried over time.

There are a couple good tutorials for bouncing that I'll see if I can dig up. Also, Pedro(admin), has a video that explains how to use the mastering toolkit for the Micro BR.

I forgot to ask what you had for equipment, but I think I read somewhere that you have a Micro BR, which is a great device. It's what I use.

After bouncing to 3 & 4 you will need to either turn down tracks 1 & 2 or change the virtual track.  When you are listening back it sounds like you may still be hearing the original bass track on either 1 or 2 along with the bounced bass track on 3 or 4.  So in other words you're hearing it double.
