I am actually a little surprised that someone has not done this yet. The vocals here were harder than I thought, still struggling with pitch in some spots. Also trying to get a good balance with the my voice inflection and and the attack on the guitar. 2 Rhythm tracks and a lead track which are all seperate, all recording in the center. I tried the panning, but it sounded a bit goofy to me because the two rhythm tracks are a bit different. I turned the mastering down a bit, it seems when I did my first song, it came out a little hot. Again, be critical, thanks.

You know Hank, this is one of those songs that you see posted and say, "Oh, not another version of Little Wing". But then you hear it and realize you just never tire of hearing it. Excellent performance! I would bring the vocal up a bit, but that's about all. Your voice is fine, and your guitar playing is first rate. Reminded me of Monte Montgomery's version.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

You did a great job!!  Not that familiar with the song,   I would have liked the vocals a little up in the mix.  But that is the learning curve.  I know I still mess that up.   Again good job!!

Bluesberry

Your guitar playing is out-of-site.  I would bring up your excellent vocals up more in the mix.  Try double tracking them even.  Very good playing and singing here.  I am impressed.  I really love your solo, so smooth.

This is one of my favorite songs and I loved your version. You didn't try to play like Hendrix, you made it unique and I liked that very much. Only thing critical I have is pretty much what every one else has been saying... The vox a too low in the mix... (Same problem I've been having lately).

Great guitar work on the lead too! ;)

Geir

Cool version Hank. Some really great guitarwork and singing sounds good too, just much to low in the mix ... oh ... you've heard that already ? ::)

You have a better voice than Hendrix, IMO. A Very nice job, keep posting man.
