I was inspired by Owen Bourne, the dude shows up and posts all this incredible Classical music that he composed himself.  Damn that fired me up.  I decided to sit down with my synth and try to "compose" something, not just a 3 chord song, but something symphonic.  This took many layers to stitch together, mostly using my SH-201 synth.  I wanted it to have a prog rock feel so I needed drums, bass and electric guitar with the synth to stay true to my idea of the Prog.  I call this Stargazer, my attempt at a symphonic synthesizer prog rock instrumental   ;D.  Lets see what you all think. Damn you Owen  ;)

Epic...cosmic...stellar...a super nova!

Play this at the same time as BB's song...they work exceptionally well together!

Nice spacetime soundscape Dave!!  Great use of all the composers tools, artistically mixing so nicely together, jelling into a stargazing backdrop of intergalactic fascination and globular cluster dreams, a birth place of stars in a birthing room nebula....ah astronomy my dear Mr. Sagan, astronomy and music!
