Quote from: j.g. on February 11, 2010, 11:39:07 AMThanks for taking the trouble to listen and comment but I am puzzled though. On this one I am told I sound like Clapton, on the one I wrote with a friend posted yesterday in the originals (God Can Do It) I am told I sound like Elvis, and on another in the covers section (Lay Back In the Arms of Someone) I sound like Roy Orbison. Perhaps I should be going in for impersonations. Must be the way I set up the effects because I don't try this on purpose.

I say impersonate away... From what I heard you are able to sound a lot like those guys. Heck there might be a spot for ya at your local "Legends".

I think a lot of us tend to intone a song the way we hear it in our heads.  You're just very, very GOOD at it.
Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.

Hi thanks for the remarks on this little tune.
When I was in England I was in various line ups. In one Duo line up we would get another guitarist to join us for some bigger gigs and he also helped with the occasional backing track. I can't remember if he did the lead on this track but from his video on youtube you can see how fussy he is. He is the lead guitarist in Bruce Welch's Moonlight Shadows taking Hank Marvins place!!I know a lot of you like to know the technical details on equipment and styles so I thought this would be of interest regardless. He is a great guy, and fantastic to play with...... (musically)!!!
