thought i might as well post the lyrics to this one in case my scottish brogue is a bit hard to interpret.

standing alone
lost in deep contemplation
ignoring the passing
of time
stuck in the moment
with no point of reference
searching for something to rhyme

looking for light
at the end of the tunnel
looking for something to say

waiting for meaning
to spring from the silence
hoping the words will arise
words
the words

soon they come forth
like a stream or a river
babbling out
like a curse
with no rhyme or reason
they just keep appearing
not ever knowing
their source

looking for light
at the end of the tunnel
looking for something to say
the harder you try
the harder it gets
the harder to set yourself free

standing alone
looking for words

Once more, fantastic stuff. Love your voice even more, the more Scottish it is, the better. You must be lovin' your new toy, Jim Michel Jarre  ;D ;D ;D

cheers guys, now that henwrench has heard it i will reveal all.

its actaully a song about songwriting or more specifically coming up with words, it was actually a song about coming up with words for this song and it proved quite difficult as it was intended as an instrumental and the melody was already there.

i had lyric writers block to start with, so wandering round headphones on mind blank nothing coming, then i babbled out a few lines and the words poured out from nowhere.

so song is also about relaxing and getting in the zone to free yourself of inhibitions et al and just letting come out what comes out and hoping it works.

well i think thats what its about but as usual its open to interpretation and psychological analysis.
