I'm addicted to this fine piece of music that Bluesberrry was kind enough to share with everyone.

I'm breaking protocol here, but this post exceeds anything I've done to date, and I had more fun doing it than I've ever had before. I couldn't force myself to bury this in the backers board.


I started with the SG, and couldn't stop for about 10 takes. I finally decided to throw a little Strat into the mix. Changed up patches a bit and here we go.

Thanks everyone, and not just for commenting but for being an inspiration.  

Basically I am a product of my environment, Each of you are more than willing to help and support a fellow musician. A piece of advice that always rings true is this: If you want to be great at something, surround yourself with people who are better than you. I will admit that I've done extremely well in the 10 months that I've been playing music, but it's not all me.

I've had a huge luxury that most people didn't when they started out. I've got a built in support group right here. I've got a personal instructor (48) who may be 3900 miles away, but a 20 second email away. He also spends a ridiculous amount of time with me on google chat as well.

I have 5 people who are dear to my heart in a skype chat that started in November who educate me daily. By the way, its the most Awesome Skype chat on the net.

With these luxuries at my disposal, I've managed to cram years worth of knowledge and other peoples experience into my brain at an alarming rate. Of course none of it means anything without an insane amount of practice practice practice.

I've made progress, a ridiculous amount of it to be honest, but I don't just do it for me. I owe each of you a debt of gratitude for guiding me. My payment to you is a culmination of everything I learn and apply. I am not the guy who asks a question, then blows off the answers. I'm the guy who loaded with gratitude and willing to achieve results because you took the time to help me.
