Hiya everyone,
I know I've not been around much lately, and not commenting, but I've been lurking from time to time. There's been some great stuff lately, as always!!!!

Anyway, some of you know why I've not been playing, but the Lapsteel I was making is finished, and here's just a little short bit I did on it ( I'll post a couple of pics in 'general').  Never played one before, and only sort of fiddled about using a slide a few times before. Can't use more than two fingers either, never been any good at chords, and as for finger picking????? Forget it.

Had to squish it a bit, a little too big.

Anyway, all honest comments welcome, as always :).
I always say, if I can leave somebody happy and smiling at the end of the day-----I've completely f*cked up!!

You got the blues, man !
Make me think a gas station in the desert with a guy playing on a dusty hold guitar,
with a cold Bud' down on the shadow of his chair.

You could also add a second part, with battery and crunchy loud guitar, in a Led Zep fashion, don't you ?

What a great sound with a bit of expantion this would off the wall, well played.

I LOVE it Steve. Sounds fantastic!

This is great. I would like to see the pics of the lap steel.
Did it take long to make?

I like to play slide, but the action on my guitars is too low, so it sounds like sh*t.
If I could build somehting cheap that can sound like this, I'd be a happy dude!
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

Here you go Vanncad---cheap enough for you? ( ignore the intro bit), it's only a very quick shot near the beginning.
