What a great recording.
I love this.
How did you record the vocals?

Thanks,

I used a Rode NT-1A for the vocals and the guitar. It's a 1" condenser and needs phantom power but the results are spectacular. It's the same mic that ORH used in Norway at Geir's Hut. I would suggest that you isolate the mic stand from the floor with a cushion or similar. It doesn't have a 100Hz roll-off filter.

There's a video here: https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=8595.0

It plugs straight into the BR800.

I loved this the first time I heard it, and listening again now, that hasn't diminished one bit. Lots of attention to detail, and everything clicks in perfectly!  8)

I love this beautyful song!!!
I already know the Nirvana's version and the David Bowie's version...
But yours is great, close to the Bowie's version...
I love the work on production, good sound on guitar, and great job on bass!!!
A pleasure to hear your vocals!

Missed this first time round but finally caught up with it, and I'm glad I did. Excellent work Mike, this sound great, love the guitars and bass, and your vox work really well! More singing please! Nice production as well, great job.

Cheers,
