You can't be Hendrix ... who else can .... but what you can be ... is yourself.
You've stamped yourself all over this.

I particularly like the repeated acoustic guitar phrase & the urgent almost rushed vocals, as well as the ... well ... the space. Yes ... that's it. This song has space.

A very rare commodity.
