I just watched a few videos on the Juno-Di and it looks pretty impressive! I look forward to hearing what you'll do with it.

Quote from: oldrottenhead on February 05, 2010, 11:22:54 AMpicked up a display, model today store will bring me a new boxed one on tuesday. so dont have drivers to hook it up to laptop for now.

Don't let that stop you. You can download the drivers, editor/librarian, and playlist editor here:

http://www.roland.co.jp/support/downloads/index.cfm?ln=jp&PRODUCT=JUNO-DI&dsp=0

(I could only find the Windows XP drivers on the Japanese site. All the other sites seem to only have Windows 7 and Mac drivers)

And there are a couple of Roland Workshop booklets here that might provide a gentler introduction to the many features of the Juno-Di than the manual does:

And here's a forum that might be helpful:

Wow, loving this. Simple and so effective. And as Henwrench said, it could be a lot deeper than just playing with a new Juno!

I really like the vox on this - the recording is great. Singing dry worked really well.

Great new toy. Looking forward to more from you using this.

Cheers,

Nigel

First of all, congratulations on your awesome new toy!!!!
Second of all, This is such a nice introduction to it.
Thirdly, I can't wait to hear what it will sound like after you
learn all about it. Such an instrument in the hands of such a
musical genius as yourself can't help but be tasteful!

Oh, by the way, did I mention that this is now on my
mp3 player?
Jim, I love it!
