i finally got my hands on my long awaited juno di, was supposed to get it for my 50th birthday on december. picked up a display, model today store will bring me a new boxed one on tuesday. so dont have drivers to hook it up to laptop for now.

anyway there is so much to learn, the manual is like a phone directory. but flash harry said just fiddle with it.

when i usually get a new toy i overdo every feature and new sound. so this time i decided to show some restraint. its just a simple piano and vocal track.

the song is about the wait for my new kit and now i have it the learning curve facing me.

Listening now...it's really, really good - nice melody but so somber...I hope your new toy brings you plenty of joy!

I just watched the demo... Whoa!  ;D  What a machine!  Looks like a lotta fun and it will be interesting to hear where this goes with you at the controls.  We may have to have you quarentined in order to prevent an international outbreak of G.A.S.  :D

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

A really great track, Jim. Would've almost liked to not have known what it was about, in my warped mind explanation reduces some of the magick but thats just me, I guess....
Vocals sounded stunning, would love to know what patch you used and if you edited it at all. I can hear your mouth open before the singing and I LOVE that. Makes it so human, so real, so personal. Good work, enjoy the toy!!

i love it mike, problem now is finding time to fiddle with it.

hen i sang dry , i very rarely do that but for some reason there is a hiss when vox comes on i think its background noise. i usually use for nylon with noise suppression on but it was too echoy for this one.
