Another fun collab with the madman across the water.  These words are actually refit from a totally different song that Jim had written over 10 years ago.

Thank you for listening.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

What a stunningly beautiful song !!

Production is wonderful as usual and the fragility of the voice is  ..... well I'm speechless !!

I agree - beautiful song!

Clean as a whistle recording/production, and of course the instrumental and vocal performances are stellar. And I dig the 10cc-like feel of those backing vocals.

FMGWABP, this is fantastic! Very well crafted, guys. Killer vox, and those two contrasting guitar parts are out of this world.

Pro work!

Always a winning combination this one, and no exception here with this song.

Playing and Production of the highest order (a given each time with Hooper!) and a simply stunning ORH vocal.

Have a feeling that this will sound even better after a few more listens.

here are the words

the sun casts out long shadows
the still air starts to cool
the clouds curl up
and dont appear to move
then night will come
and one by one
the stars
will flicker on
a universe so vast
we lose ourselves
were insignificant
beneath such wonder
it puts us in perspective
makes us all feel small
gives some men religion
stirs something in us all
something in us all

every single morning
a brand new day will dawn
the sun will rise
its brilliant light will make us warm
and one by one we feel reborn
and one by one we feel reborn
it puts us in perspective
makes us all feel small
gives some men religion
stirs something in us all
a universe so vast
we lose ourselves
were insignificant
beaneath such wonder
it puts us in perspective
makes us all feel small
gives some men religion
stirs something in us all
something in us all
