Hi - only had the Boss BR micro for a couple of days and managed to record this cover. I did the backing track of bass, drums and one guitar a few years ago writing them on my computer using the Sweet Sixteen program (which I have now lost) and have recorded guitar and vocal tracks over the top since receiving the gear two days ago. Once I get to use the effects on the vocal and on mixdown it should jump up a notch, but still not bad.

Thanks for the good comments, never thought of myself as Roy O before. Hope to drop some more on you soon. I have to say there are some cracking copies on here, I really must listen to a few more and write some comments.

Great performance and nice mix. I'm not familiar with this song but it has a nice flow. What is the Sweet Sixteen program?

Thanks for that - Smokie were a band in the 70's with some great hits - One was well known for its reworking (not much appreciated) called " Living Next Door to Alice". It was banned in most Social Clubs. I was in a band playing bars and clubs in England, and many Clubs had signs up saying "Don't Play Alice - Your bookings will be cancelled if you do".
The Sweet Sixteen is still available from www.ronimusic.com   -   It is a Midi sequencer program and is great. I might buy another its only $29.95.  Used to do all our backing tracks on that for a duo I was in.
