I'm digging everything about this song. Axe work is amazing and cool lyrics as well.
Man do think you have enough equipment. lol
I may not know what it all does but I do know you put it all to good use.
The information you include about equipment and the patches are very helpful.
The "acoustic" Mastering kit just smoothed out the whole song.
Great work.

Thanks again everyone.

Nelson - Glad you like the tune man! You can never have too much equipment (See Mark, Tharek and Tony's GAS Attack). I spent years playing on the same "junk", because I didn't have any spare cash to upgrade. Now I've got better gear  - but no time (and no band). I'm sure many here can relate. I just look for deals in my local classifieds, and have been fortunate to stumble across a couple decent guitars and a cab. I also like when people post what they are using to get their "sound". I like to use a pedal and mic my amp for these types of tunes. A little more effort, but a better result - IMHO.

T - I appreciate your comments. Your stuff is always amazing. You just keep getting better. Every time I hear one of your songs, it inspires me to improve my playing as well. Keep it up Bro!

Yup, this is a Vann classic.   Great song, great vocal, great guitars, great recording, did I mention great song?  Thats a solo that I could listen to all day, smooth yet gritty, melodic, it goes somewhere, it tells a little story of its own.  Great, great song, radio-worthy (if radio ever played good music anymore).  Love the ending.

Awesome tune! Excellent lyrics and the playing is top notch.

I've said it before...you sound so much like Eddie "King" Roeser from Urge OverKill. Such a cool voice!

Quote from: Frank53 on February 01, 2010, 10:20:03 AMI certainly hear the ZZ Top influence, and maybe a little SRV in there, as well.

Yeah, very solid and well done!  Wonderful tone.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

- Thanks for the comment and the vid Griter. I'm gonna check out some more of their tunes. They sound a little like "Sloan" (another great Canadian band eh?)  ;D.
