Its not that I have that many layers, I just picked up a br-1600 on craigslist. It took me 10 billion tries to get to the point where I want to post something.

Most of you know I predominantly play to backers. I thought I'd try something new. I've been learning to play rhythm lately, and came up with this. definitely not fancy by any stretch, but everyone's gotta start somewhere.

A special thanks goes to thouston for being kind enough to have me over and teach me the basics on the 1600. That was very kind and generous of him, and he saved me literally a hundred hours of learning on my own.

Lead - Fender Mexican custom shop strat.

Rhythm - same guitar

Bass - Ibanez SR300

I programmed some fills for the first time ever too.

I neglected to Mention that Launched has been working with me for Months on how to produce music. He has been one hell of a friend to me through my entire musical journey.

Good start Tony, some great guitar work in there and really nicely constructed, everything flows nicely. Have a feeling we will be hearing more from you in this respect very soon.

The more I hear this the more I really, really like it.  Its like I can hear what is inside your head Tony.  This feels very personal and feels like you are putting down a challenge to yourself.  I can only imagine where your songs will be by the spring, I am in awe of your commitment to music.  This was the guy who had no timing, no ability to hear the beat properly, no groove.  Well, you have your groove on now baby.  I am so impressed by your progress Tony.  This is the best from you yet, and it really is only the beginning, you know how cool that is.  Go Tony Go!!!!!!!!

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Thanks everyone!

Dave your comments are so pleasing to the senses. You've been a mentor from day one. You have hit the nail on the head. I couldn't get anything right early on. I firmly believe that some people are natural musicians, and I am not in that category. I compensate with sheer determination.

I've got a tune I'm working on right now with vox.......

PS Mark, I am starting to get the difference between .7ms and 7ms..........

I like the fade in here and I love the effect you've used on the lead.
The fills here are really impressive - I would never have thought it was the first time you had tried it.  And that bass to me sounds weirdly wonderful.  Nice one.
