Problems with usb connection on mac os X 10.5.4

Hi, i've been using the micro br for a while now and never had any problems exporting  my songs on my imac. I recently updated my Os X version to 10.5.4 and i'm not able to connect anymore. The micro br displays the message "usb connecting..." but the cpu doesn't seem to "see" the machine.

Is there any compatibility problems with the new os versions and is there a way to fix this problem.  :-\

Buy a PC? Sorry, could not resist. Wish I could help but my knowledge of the Mac is sub zero. Sure someone will tho.

If not, why don't you call Apple tech support and see if they have a fix.  Or wait for 10.5.5.

Have you tried disconnecting the USB cable from the Mac while the Micro BR is displaying "usb connecting", then re-connecting it to give the Mac another chance to detect the USB device? It might be worth a try.

Very good info but it didn't solve my problem...:( I wrote to Roland/Boss, i'll give you feedbacks

I think you should contact Apple rather than Roland since you said that everything worked just fine until you updated OS X to version 10.5.4. And the web page I referred to earlier suggests that others are also having USB issues after updating to 10.5.4. So it would seem that a fix is needed from Apple, not Roland.

Hi Folks

I'm having the same issue with connecting the MBR to the Mac (power pc, OS X 10.4.11) - in fact attempting to do so freezes the whole machine requiring a hard re-boot.

Has anyone else been able to resolve this?  Appreciate some advice.
