BR-532. Line in.

Yo! As a songwriting genius I was made-up when I aquired a previously-enjoyed 532. Here we go! But we didn't. I couldn't even lay down a rhythm track. Rubbish manual! Bought a DVD by a cool antipodean. Problem solved. Now he tells me that I can't import from my yamaha keyboard. My guitar playing is almost as poor as the roland manual! So, can I.. can't I? Hope y'all are good.

Import midi data into your 532?  Doubt it.

Music pre-sequenced or played from the Yamaha to the 532 via line in? Absolutely!

We know nothing about the model of your keyboard, so it would be tough to tell you how to do it - With that info I'm certain that one of us here could make it happen for you.

Ok, great, boldward! I looked into both devices and you can connect them via the 1/4" headphone/line out jack on the keyboard and the RCA Phono type line in on the 532. You will need this adapter cable:



They are cheap. About $5US. I would suspect that the speakers turn off when you plug into the keyboard, so you may have to listen through the headphone connection of the 532.

Anyway, you need that cable to do it. That is the first step!

One tip - Keep the headphone/line out volume level down enough to avoid clipping/distortion.
