Thanks, Rob! Your comments go a long way with me - I love your music, and you are a big inspiration to me for sure.

I bought my guitar about a week ago. This is actually my second post, but my first structured performance. To get me motivated, Tharek jammed with me a little bit via exchanging 30 second clips. The link is here. T pretty much carried me, but it was a fun thing to do.

This is my guitar. An Ibanez dreadnaught. I love it.

I recorded with the MBR's built-in mic. It sounded a little hollow, but not bad. I'd love to get the sound you have, maybe after many years of practicing  :D  The strings are a medium gauge and came with it (I'd say 10's, maybe?). I scrubbed them good with Dr. Stringfellow, and they feel ok, so I didn't change them.

Thanks again, bro! That Slade cover was killer!!

Hey, I just found this thread. Wow! Great cover man!
This is my favorite of Sandy's....I listen almost every day to it.
You did it nicely.
It seems to be getting difficult to keep up now with all
the new posts, it makes me wonder how much good stuff is
missed and slipping by me!
Anyhow, congrats on your new baby. She sounds sweet.

Just catching up on some unplugged stuff and found this little treasure. You did really well here Mark, the vox come across really well and the vocal parts sit together nicely. Not bad acoustic work for your first song either. Great idea to cover a Gritter epic, it works really well and I enjoyed it a lot.

Cheers,

Nigel
