Tracks out of sync

I haven't been on in a while. Finally getting over Christmas and holidays a month later!

I recorded a stereo backing track onto tracks 1 & 2 on my micro br using the line input. When I was playing them back there was a pop and then the tracks were out of sync. The tempo of the backer is 120 and it works out to be exactly 1 measure out of whack. Is this one of the dreaded sd card errors I read about? Other than using the track shift function is there any fix. I have been scared to load any other songs for fear it will happen again. I can easily re-record the backer (it's a korg synth emulator for nintendo ds) but if this were a live stereo recording it would be much worse news.

I've never had that problem when recording on the line-in. I have however had the same prolem pleny of times during mastering, wich also is recording altho a bit more strenuous for the br.

I would try bacing up the card, formatting it and restoring the songs you need back to the card.
