For not I quite understand, there are people here who do not like this character 'Henwrench'. Did he do some thing bad? I listented to alot of his songs and the songs are good but is he trying to be funny? Some say they hate him.

I think the guitar is too prominant in the mix as its drowning out the vox at times and makes it hard to hear the melody in the vox which IMO should be more prominant as the whole idea of a pirate song is that it's a sing a long no?

Gringo

There are some words printed in the lyrics pages here. It helped me to hear what is said and it was hard to know what some of it meant. I will look for 'wench'  ???

My comments were surly friendly meant, in a piraty kinda way :D and my words came from my own pirat song.

And ... yes Henwrench is a guy that can annoy people some times, I don't think it's bad meant, but he can be perceived  a bit "discourteous"  at times.

Love his music tho

Nicely said Geir, I love his music too.  Brilliant, quirky, very creative and very original.  As far as music is concerned Henwrench, you are one of the very bright lights on this little forum.  Let the politics pass, do what you do best, surprise and inspire us all with your brilliant songs.  I don't give crap about all the "who said what, blahh,  blahh, blahh" I don't usually get too involved in that kind of stuff anyway.  Its all about the music, and your music is wonderful.  Keep them coming Henwrench.

If the artist is a pitcher and the listener is the batter, a good pitcher won't only pitch strikes. Sometimes you gotta make the batter reach for a pitch out of the strike zone and sometimes you gotta brush the batter off the plate if he's too close and thinks he knows what's coming next.

If the artist is just playing catch with the listener, it's fun but can become a little predictable and boring.

I prefer the pitcher/batter approach (although we all would like to see the batter hit our pitch). This makes for a better song/game than a friendly toss of the ball.

I hope you get what I mean.

*If you don't know baseball I'm wondering if there is a cricket analogy that will work.
